Which West Ham players are on international duty?

The September international break has arrived, with 10 West Ham United players from both the first team and the Academy earning call-ups for key UEFA Nations League fixtures and European youth championship qualifiers.

Among the senior squad, three first-team regulars are set for UEFA Nations League duty. Goalkeeper Mads Hermansen has been named in the Denmark squad after a series of impressive displays for the Hammers.

After an impressive display against Millwall, which earned him a comparison to a ‘beast’, 28-year-old defender Konstantinos Mavropanos joins Greece as they prepare for a challenging Nations League A group featuring Serbia, Germany and the Netherlands.

Meanwhile, winger Manor Solomon has been included in Israel’s squad for four pivotal Group B fixtures over the September and October windows.

At youth level, West Ham’s academy is well represented, with four players earning call-ups to Darren Moore’s England Under-20 squad for U20 Euro Elite League fixtures in La Nucia, Spain.

Goalkeeper Finlay Herrick is joined by defender Ezra Mayers—both of whom recently made their senior debuts for West Ham in the Carabao Cup.

Centre-back Airidas Golambeckis, a regular in England’s junior age groups, and highly rated midfielder Divine Mukasa, who has ten goals in 35 youth caps, complete the Young Lions contingent.

Two more Hammers have also received Under-21 international recognition. Forward Edvin Austbo joins up with the Norway Under-21 squad as they chase qualification for next summer’s European finals, while defender Josh Briggs is in the Northern Ireland Under-21 squad for their upcoming qualifying double-header.

In addition, young goalkeeper Finley Hooper received a call-up to Ben Futcher’s England Under-19 squad for their upcoming international fixtures against Ireland, Norway, the United States, and Belgium.

With a packed schedule of senior UEFA Nations League games and crucial youth qualifiers, West Ham fans will have plenty of international action to follow before the Championship campaign resumes.
