West Ham United have emerged as serious suitors for Tottenham Hotspur winger Manor Solomon, with the Hammers ramping up their efforts to bolster their wide attacking options, according to Sport5.
The 27-year-old Israel international finds himself at a career crossroads in north London. After joining Spurs on a free transfer from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2023, an early knee injury disrupted his debut season and led to consecutive loan spells away from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Most notably, Solomon delivered an outstanding 2024/25 campaign on loan at Leeds United, scoring 10 goals and providing 12 assists in 39 league appearances.
Despite taking part in Tottenham’s pre-season preparations under Roberto De Zerbi, Solomon’s camp has made it clear that another temporary move is off the table.
His representative, Ronen Katzav, has publicly stated that the ‘fantastic’ winger is actively seeking a permanent transfer to secure regular first-team football, emphasising that a long-term home is essential for Solomon to recapture his best form.
This stance has opened the door for West Ham, who are looking to add directness, dribbling ability, and proven English football experience to their frontline.
Following squad reshaping in East London, the Hammers view Solomon as an ideal target to add firepower out wide.
His ability to operate on either flank, combined with a track record in high-pressure matches—including memorable Champions League goals against European giants during his time at Shakhtar—makes him an appealing tactical fit.
With two years remaining on Solomon’s contract at Tottenham, Spurs are open to negotiating a permanent fee as they look to streamline their squad.
Although Italian side Fiorentina previously expressed interest before declining a buy option following a loan stint, West Ham are aiming to position themselves at the front of the queue.
