West Ham United are set to welcome key playmaker Manuel Lanzini back to first-team availability for the Premier League clash against Swansea City on March 3, according to Claret and Hugh.
The Argentina international has been on the sidelines of late and missed the Hammers’ last three games, including the 2-0 win over Watford on Saturday.
The report suggests that Lanzini is making excellent progress in his rehabilitation and that although West Ham’s next game, a clash against Liverpool on February 24, is too soon for the South American, he will be fit to face Swansea.
The creative star is a key man for the Hammers and on his day is one of the most-gifted playmakers in the Premier League.
As such, having Lanzini return to first-team contention will be a massive boost for West Ham and give David Moyes plenty of options in the final third.
Joao Mario and Marko Arnautovic played off Javier Hernandez in the win over Watford and as such it will be interesting to see who gets the nod to start once the Argentine is available again.
West Ham have suffered from injury concerns this season but as the situation improves the threat of potential relegation diminishes at the London Stadium.
