West Ham United have made a ‘take it or leave it’ final offer for Lazio attacker Felipe Anderson to bring the transfer saga to an end, one way or the other, according to Claret and Hugh.
The Hammers have been linked with the Brazilian attacking midfielder over the last month, with contrasting reports over how advanced negotiations with the Italians have been.
While West Ham are yet to make any statements on the attempts to land Anderson, it is believed the clubs are some distance apart in terms of a possible transfer fee.
Claret and Hugh suggest there is a €10 million disparity between what the Hammers have offered and Lazio want for the South American.
However, West Ham are reportedly hopeful of a deal being completed given the Rome-based outfit’s supposed financial difficulties.
While most of the Irons fans would love a big-money move for Anderson to be completed, the worst thing that can happen is this saga gets dragged out for another month.
Although the Lazio man is a talented operator, if West Ham cannot agree a fee they should move on to other potential targets rather than get embroiled in another long transfer tussle only to come out empty handed.
