United’s financial strength means any delay from Roma could allow them to swoop in. Tottenham have also been linked, but the North Londoners are reportedly prioritising a deal for Manchester City’s Savinho.
For West Ham, a potential bidding war would be ideal. The London club paid €29.3 million to sign Summerville from Leeds United in 2024 and are determined to maximise their profit.
Summerville’s stock is at an all-time high after his standout performances for the Netherlands at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where he registered two goals and two assists, attracting interest from scouts around the globe.
