West Ham are interested in signing Suso from AC Milan, according to a report which was published by Calcio Mercato.

The Spaniard reportedly has a release clause of £36 million which is applicable to clubs from outside Italy.

The 25-year-old reported West Ham target has struggled for form this season as he has so far managed just one assist from eight Serie A games.

He has however proven during the past that he is capable of churning out quality displays and a move could be what he needs to revitalise his career as well as put himself on the radar of the Spanish national team.

He endured a successful season last term as he went on to score eight goals as well as provide ten assists.

West Ham are aiming for nothing less than Europa League football this season.

The Hammers started the season well but their form has since dipped. They are without a win during their last three premier League games and have lost their previous two top-flight encounters against Everton and Crystal Palace.

Manuel Pellegrini’s West Ham side should ideally look to reinforce their side in January in order to strengthen the team’s performances for the second half of the season.

The club’s main concern however at the moment is the defence. A new centre-back currently looks like something which will be needed.

Up front, Sebastian Haller has so far been solid in terms of bringing goals for West Ham.

The Frenchman could however do with some more support and supply. If the East Londoners struggle to score between now and January, Pellegrini should consider a move for Suso.
