New West Ham United manager Manuel Pellegrini had a ten-man transfer wishlist after taking over at the club and the Hammers hierarchy are working to land as many of his targets as possible, according to Football London.

The London club have shown their ambition by landing the South American head coach, who arrives at the Irons with real calibre and a sublime track record.

Pellegrini’s presence will surely help West Ham attract new quality players to the club also, with Lukasz Fabianski, Issa Diop and Ryan Fredericks already joining this summer so far.

The report suggests that while the Hammers boss does not expect all ten of the names on his list to be signed, other targets include Alfie Mawson, Javier Pastore and Marlon.

Three of Pellegrini’s targets are unknown and it remains to been just who else West Ham will sign over the course of the summer.

Hammers fans endured a tough season in 2017-18, with the club narrowly avoiding becoming embroiled in a relegation battle under Slaven Bilic and David Moyes.

However, with Pellegrini now at the helm, hopes are high that next term will be a more positive campaign for West Ham.
