Compared to some of the signings we've had to put up in recent years, it's with some excitement I welcome Thomas Hitzlsperger to Upton Park.  The 28 year old German has signed on a free after a brief, seemingly un-successful spell at Lazio.  He has good pedigree and is a solid performer in the middle of the park.  I would imagine this move will see one or more of Kovac, Behrami or Noble leaving shortly, as central midfield is a place where we have a few options.  But this is a positive signing and with a couple more sensible ones, we can start to feel opitmistic again in the East End.

Good signing as long as this doesn’t mean Scott Parker being sold to the Tottenscum as being rumoured at the moment.

good signing but i really do want a clear out because lets face it west ham need hungry players and sice bellamy collins left we have never been the same and even though neill was a bad player he was a great captain. i hope we sell spector 1m
upson 8m was at fault for all of the goals v liverpool
cole 12m cannot score inside box
ilunga 4m gd first season but hasnt cut it since
diamanti 7m luxury player n we never win wiv him
faubert 5m clumsy and we can also play behrami at his best postion in my opinion
noble 5m too lighweight to play in the middle
loan out stanislas as he needs more experience
    total income- 42.5 million
in – wheater- 4m could replace collins and play with da costa at the back
shorey- 3m was an england full back untill warnock came along
m.petrov- free- tell him that west ham are going for europe and he would be key player give him 55 grand
yakubu-6m- once a player who couldnt be stopped although he hasnt recovered he hasnt bin given regular football
bellamy- 8m although we hate him he did say he never wanted to leave west ham and we have never recovered since he had left, he also looks bound to leave man city
benayoun-8m avram grant is israeili and he could say that west ham are looking for european football and the fans love him. although he is at liverpool who are in europa league he is still not guarenteed regualr football whereas at west ham would.
    total spent-29m
we would have strengthened with gaining money
although its a crazy list west ham are still a big club and london is an attraction to players also avram grant is a good manager who has managed at all different levels at knows the game inside out.
this would be a great team
    green
    behrami da costa wheater shorey
    parker hitzlberger
    benayoun bellamy petrov
    yakubu

Ilunga has been injured thats why you have not seen much of him id still rather he stayed he does need a left winmger infront of him and his best games were with LBM so hope he takes the extention offered.
Fuabert has been great a right back and better there than at RM he was the most improved player of the season keep him.
    Noble can go
Diamanti will always spilt the fans but i want him to stay
Agree with all your signings though.
The people i would like to leave are Upson, Spector, Kovac and Dyer

  • This is a real quality signing, hopefully a sign of intent for the future.
