West Ham team news: Moyes’ decision on key man, trio out vs Soton

West Ham United play their final Premier League game of the 2020-21 season on Sunday, with the Irons fans knowing a point at home to Southampton will be enough to secure Europa League football next term.

The fixture at the London Stadium will mark the return of 10,000 supporters, with much on the line for the hosts.

West Ham have had an excellent season, with David Moyes making the Irons competitive, defensively solid and a real danger in attack.

Ahead of the game, the club’s official website has confirmed that the Hammers manager will make a late decision on the fitness of goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski.

The Polish stopper was injured in the warm-up before the midweek clash with West Brom and will be assessed closer to the Southampton match.

West Ham will also be without both Arthur Masuaku and Manuel Lanzini, while Sky Sports report that Mark Noble is out of contention also.

The Hammers go into Sunday’s game in sixth place, with both Tottenham and Everton three points adrift of the Irons’ excellent tally of 62 points.

West Ham fans will be excited to play European football next season and will surely use the Southampton game as an opportunity to thank Moyes and the players for an exhilarating campaign.
