West Ham United start the new Premier League season with a home clash against Newcastle United, with the supporters hopeful of three points to kickstart 2020-21.
In positive news, the Hammers have confirmed on their official website that David Moyes has a fully-fit squad for the game against Steve Bruce’s side at the London Stadium on Saturday night.
West Ham have signed Tomas Soucek on a permanent basis this summer and the Czech midfielder will be ready to feature against Newcastle.
The versatile enforcer was self-isolating after meeting up with the Czech Republic national squad but has returned to Hammers training and could start against the Magpies.
West Ham also have the likes of Declan Rice, Andriy Yarmolenko, Lukasz Fabianski and Darren Randolph all available after they took part in international duty with their respective nations.
The lack of new faces at the club is certainly a drawback and many of the Hammers fans would have loved to have seen Grady Diangana starting against Newcastle.
However, West Ham will hope to pick up from where they left off last season and start the new campaign with a positive performance and result.
The report also stated that Newcastle have injury worries, with Martin Dubravka, Ciaran Clark, Paul Dummett, Fabian Schar, Matty Longstaff and Dwight Gayle all ruled out, while Matt Ritchie is a doubt.
