West Ham fans tear into midfielder’s performance: ‘Shocking’, ‘needs replacing’

West Ham United were on the wrong end of a 4-0 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday and fans were unimpressed with the performance of one of their men.

Manuel Pellegrini would have been looking for a positive start from his side after the Chilean spent over £100million on new players.

He would have realised that the challenge of Liverpool at Anfield would not have been the best way to start the new season, however, the side’s performances left a lot to be desired.

West Ham were carved open early in the first half when Mohamed Salah struck the opener, before Sadio Mane doubled their lead moments before the half-time whistle, largely in thanks to a lack of concentration from the Hammer’s defence.

The Irons did not start the second half well either, as the Senegal international quickly added a third before Daniel Sturridge completed the rout.

Fans were not pleased with what they saw from their team, that had included six debutants, and took to social media to slam one of their players.

Supporters were unforgiving with their criticism of Mark Noble, as the midfielder appeared to pick up the brunt of their frustrations.

A number of them had stated that he needed to be dropped in future, with some believing that he simply is not good enough to play for the club any more.
