West Ham fans delighted with midfielder’s performance against Palace: “Immense”, “Outstanding”

West Ham United managed to continue their unbeaten run in the Premier League to six games with a 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace on Tuesday night and fans were pleased with the performance of one man on social media.

The Hammers have been in good form under the management of David Moyes and currently find themselves sitting in tenth place, having been in the relegation zone at his time of his arrival.

West Ham are currently suffering an injury crisis to their squad, with a number of first-team players currently out and tiredness started to show to the men on the field towards the end of the game.

The visits went ahead through Christian Benteke, however, the London Stadium outfit were awarded a penalty just before half-time.

The ever-reliant Mark Noble converted from the spot to score just his 50th goal for West Ham to help his side earn a point, however, Moyes men could have taken all three in the second half.

Javier Hernandez, who had been starting due to the sheer number of injuries, had a chance to get a winner five minutes after the restart, but his header was stopped by Wayne Hennessey.

West Ham fans were pleased with the performance from their players on social media and were delighted with Cheikhou Kouyate’s showing.

The Senegal international has drawn plenty of criticism from his own supporters in the past few weeks, however, many were quick to state their happiness with the midfielder.

West Ham supporters had felt that Kouyate had impressed for the 85 minutes he was on the field and had seen him play in his best game for a considerable period of time.
