West Ham United entertain their former manager Slaven Bilic and his West Bromwich Albion side in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday afternoon, but they could be missing three men for the contest.
The Hammers were under the stewardship of the Croatian, a former defender at the club back in the 1990s, but sacked him in 2017, and this will be his first return to the London Stadium since then.
He goes back to West Ham with his West Brom side riding high in the Championship, and looking to make their way into the fifth round of the cup at the expense of his former club.
The Hammers will be looking to progress in the competition themselves, but they may have to do so without a trio of first-team regulars.
West Ham boss David Moyes has confirmed he is likely to be missing Robert Snodgrass and Arthur Masuaku, and suggested that Angelo Ogbonna is a doubt too, when he gave an update on the status of his squad ahead of the game.
“We picked up a couple of injuries in the Leicester game, but I think that’s happening at the moment,” the Hammers official website quotes him as saying.
“We got an injury to Snodgrass and to Arthur, which I think is going rule them out of the weekend.
“We’re having a look at Angelo [Ogbonna] just now, who fell heavily on his back.
“Snodgrass is an inflamed tendon in his knee, and Arthur is his knee as well. He’s had fluid drawn out of his knee a couple of times, and I knew that on Wednesday night he was only going to ever be able to play 60 minutes. When it got to half-time I thought ‘that will do’.
“I don’t think they’re bad. We’ll let Arthur’s knee settle down, and Snoddy’s is a tendon which has been causing him problems in the past, and it reacted the other night.”
Moyes also confirmed that attacker Michail Antonio is available after his cameo against Leicester City in midweek, and he could well start against the Baggies.
