Sulejmani loaned to West Ham if work permit granted

The somewhat protracted (but not in a Lois Remy way) loan of Serbian forward Miralem Sulejmani is sealed subject to a work permit being allowed for the international.  The permit is far from guaranteed, as the player does not meet the criteria for it, but somehow in football, these things tend to sort themselves out.

The man himself is looking forward to coming to Upton Park, stating ""I am happy that I will play in the strongest league in Europe.  I think that I am up to the challenge and I am convinced that I will get the chance and the opportunities, as Avram Grant was very positive about my qualities."

I don't recall the guy too well but he comes from Ajax witgh other clubs chasing his signature, so I hope he turns out to be a good signing.  A loan deal at least carries less risk with it.

Meanwhile, the Hammers are allegedly in coversation with Stoke City about the transfer of Radoslav Kovac.  Presumably Stoke want quite a high fee to take him off our hands!  If he does leave, I can't say I'll miss him too much, and we have strength in the middle of the park.  Happy for him to go to be honest.
