Sky Sports confirm how long West Ham’s Arnautovic and Lanzini will be unavailable for

West Ham United will be without Manuel Lanzini and Marko Arnautovic for a significant amount of time with injuries, according to a report by Sky Sports.

The Hammers have had an unfortunate time with injuries in recent months, and their luck has not changed following the news coming out of the London Stadium.

David Moyes is already without Aaron Cresswell, Winston Reid, Jose Fonte, Diafra Sakho and Andre Ayew, with Andy Carroll also being added to the list of West Ham players unavailable.

The Hammers centre forward, who had been linked with a move to Chelsea last week, required surgery on his foot and is expected to miss around three months as he looks to recover.

If that was not bad enough for West Ham, the Irons will also be without both Lanzini and Arnautovic for a significant period as well.

The Argentine winger is expected to be out for at least a month with a hamstring injury he picked up during the Hammers’ 1-1 draw with Bournemouth last weekend.

Lanzini had to limp off the London Stadium pitch during the second half and West Ham will certainly miss his creative ability when going forward.

Arnautovic, who has also been crucial to the Irons’ efforts in climbing up the Premier League, is also set to miss around three weeks with a similar hamstring problem.

The Austria international was injured in the same game as Lanzini, however, he did not need to come off the field and managed to complete the match for West Ham.

The injuries have come at a bad time for Moyes and could force him to look for recruits in the final week of the transfer window.

With an FA Cup clash to play against Wigan Athletic this weekend, it will be interesting to see who the West Ham manager selects to lead the line.
