According to Bild (10:13, January 31, 2020), West Ham United manager David Moyes decided against making a move for Salomon Kalou of Hertha Berlin in he January transfer window.
It has been reported by the German publication that Moyes felt that Kalou was too old to play for his team.
Kicker has claimed last month that West Ham had made approach for the 34-year-old former Chelsea forward, before they signed Jarrod Bowen from Championship club Hull City.

Kalou played for Chelsea from 2006 until 2012, and won the Premier League tile and the Champions League once each, and the FA Cup on four occasions.
The Ivory Coast international forward has been at Hetha since 2014 and has made over 150 appearances in all competitions.
According to WhoScored, the 34-year-old has made one start and four substitute appearances in the Bundesliga for Hertha Berlin so far this season, scoring one goal in the process.
During the 2018-19 campaign, the forward made 27 starts and three substitute appearances in the league, scoring eight goals and providing two assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
