West Ham have confirmed the signing of the wonderfully named Razvan Rat, the Shakthar Donetsk left back. It's certainly an area that needed strengthening and a great mvoe by the club to do it so early and give the lad time to settle in. Welcome to Upton Park Razvan!
In sadder news, it appears Carlton Cole is leaving the club after 7 years, his contract having expired. Haven't got time to write a full deication right now, but he is a player that will bhe truly missed. Unplayable and frustrating in equal measure, it was Carlton's attitude that has endeared him to so many Hammers, working hard, going through the ups and downs but always managing to smile. A great lad and welcome back to Upton Park anytime, best of luck Carlton, I'm sure we will be seeing more from you….
