We've not won there since the Beatles were hitting the charts, so what are your thoughts regarding today? Whilst we probably go up there with more confidence than we have had in a while, it's still a tricky match. There is also sense that we have not quite replicated the dizzy heights of our earlier performances, Liverpool at home included.
Team wise, it will be massive for us if Sakho can start. Let's also hope that Song gets back on track, he was awful at Bristol last weekend, but I imagine a stage like Anfield will bring out the best in him. We have some injury issues at the back which will make the team interesting, don't be surprised to see Demel and/or O'Brien playing a part.
My prediction? 2-2, a late Gerrard goal breaking our hearts yet again…but we can dream….come on you Irons!!!
