West Ham United played out to a 2-2 draw against Leicester City at the London Stadium on Saturday.
The Hammers would have been hoping to win the game as they looked to be the better side. West Ham twice took the lead through Michail Antonio and then through Lucas Perez during the 82nd minute.
Jamie Vardy equalised for Leicester to make the score 1-1 during the 67th minute before Harvey Barnes scored during second-half stoppage time to salvage a point for Brendan Rodgers’ side and break West Ham hearts.
The Hammers faithful were clearly frustrated after not winning. However, at the same time, West Ham can take positives from the game, which brings and end to a three-match losing streak in the Premier League.
Antonio started the game and went on to play the full 90 minutes. He was one of the star performers for Manuel Pellegrini’s West Ham side on the day.
The Hammers attacker expressed his feelings on Twitter and suggested that he was frustrated that his side did not win.
After last week we wanted to come back with a win and get all three points. So annoying to concede in the last minute. Only positive I can find right now is the thought of that new claret carpet feel. ⚒ #COYI pic.twitter.com/2jMfY05dCx

The result leaves West Ham in eleventh place on the standings with 43 points after 35 games. They can still potentially secure a finish on the top half of the standings this season but will need to considerably improve during their final three games of the season.
West Ham’s final three games of the season are against Tottenham Hotspur, Southampton and Watford.
The Hammers fans will hope Pellegrini’s men can lift it for the London derby next weekend, while the other two games are also distinctly winnable.
