In-form West Ham man in demand, potential transfer off in the summer

Oxford United manager Karl Robinson has admitted that he wants to keep West Ham United youngster Marcus Browne permanently and that he may have a decent chance of signing the player, according to popular Hammers source Claret and Hugh.

The 21-year-old Irons man has been one of the Yellows players this season and has so far made 30 League appearances for his side, scoring five goals.

West Ham starlet Browne has established himself as a fan-favourite with Oxford and is a first-team regular.

Even though he has been impressive in League One, there is vast difference in terms of quality of the English third-tier and the Premier League.

It is unlikely that Browne will be integrated into the West Ham first-team setup this summer. As such , the East Londoners will likely be open to listening to offers for him permanently during the off-season.

Browne is now at a stage where he should be playing as much as possible. He should seriously push to be let go by the Hammers as soon as possible.

He needs to be in an environment where he will be playing regularly so that he can iron out the errors in his game – and West Ham may well opt to allow him to leave.
