Another sublime performance by West Ham United today, with a 3-1 victory over a tough and upbeat Swansea side. Their resistance was softened by the sending off of their keeper at 2-1 and then destroyed by goal-machine Sakho making it 3-1 towards the end. However, any sympathy for their red card is watered down by the memories of 'Cheato' Flores last season.
Even when the boys went 1-0 down to Bony's early effort, there now seems to be some belief around Upton Park that goals will come at some point. If Valencia is having an off day, Carroll will pop one in….if Nolan is quiet then Sakho will jump on chance. Coupled with the hard work of the backs and Song (who was excellent) and Kouyate, and we are simply solid all the way through.
This reuslt leaves us in third until United play Southampton tomorrow night, and with Sunderland up next, it's going to take some effort to stop the Hammers juggernaut.
