The Hammers are reported to have won the battle of the Olympic stadium, with the legacy company preferring West Ham's bid to that of North London minnows Tottenham.
Whilst not all Hammers are happy with the move, and I have my reservations, one has to face up that the game has changed and that clubs need to grow and move with the times. And the Emirates and City of Manchester Stadiums are more impressive than Highbury and Maine Road. However, the issue of a running track remains a big issue for fans and it will be interesting how the club approach this 'atmosphere killer'.
